DURANGO 2016

Wednesday July 13th we loaded up for a road trip around 10 AM [There is a reason why we leave at the crack of dawn for road trips.]
DURANGO
With the Slater's
20 minutes into the drive Wellington started asking "when will we be there?"
 Cousin love is the best,
Andrew and Lennon never miss a beat!

Thursday July 14th we drove into Silverton
Such a charming little mining town with all these old buildings.

 Walking around town

The mountains surrounding this town are HUGE and GORGEOUS.

 "Muscles"

After walking around town we drove up to the Old Hundred Mine to take a tour.

All outfitted and heading into the Mine.

These big jackets on these small people.

These three tapped out quickly, I was in charge of wrangling them.

Jame was in charge of holding her! He loved his job because she never does this!
 The gang
 The mine, Old Hundred
Wellington found this "gold rock" for his rock collection

Dessert is always top priority in the Slater home!
Friday July 15th was a swim day!

Girlfriend loves her drink by the pool..

We also rode the river that day and had a ball. Jamey of course was the life of the party, jumping onto random kayakers floating down the river. He is never a dull moment!
So many babies in the tub, Scarlett was stressed!
Jamey really took one for the team and got in there.
Saturday July 16th was another pool day that looked like this...
Andrew has found his love... the water! He is the first to jump in and the last to get out. He really can't get enough!

Jamey and Steve went on a Razor ride and had a great time!
Beautiful scenery

Saturday night we went into Durango and ate dinner then played at a park.

Sunday July 17th we went into Silverton to go to church and the drive was honestly breathtaking!
Here is the whole crew
All these babies and this man make me so freaking HAPPY!

This old railroad was so awesome! HUGE!

Mountain lakes
The boys and I went on a little hike later that day.

The weather was honestly gorgeous the whole time, and these mountains were our view.
Our cabin
Night time shenanigans
Monday July 18th we drove home through the mountains and it had such windy road with cliffs everywhere. It was breathtaking.

The most charming little Swiss village called Ouray tucked into the mountains.

Back home to my parents house to play more with cousins.
My sister Melanie's house is so beautiful, they just finished their basement and put in a full kitchen. I want it ALL!
The triplets
Packing up my favorite vases.
Dinner up Millcreek Canyon
All of us snuck away one afternoon to do some shopping and lunch!
