Wellington 7 Months

Wellington is 7 months today! Months go by like days.. He is melting our hearts constantly. Today is cold and snowy so it was a sweats kind of day. He is fully sitting up by himself and still rolling over. We are in LOVE!

It's hard to get him to sit still these days, he is turning into a serious busy body.

Such a snuggle bug when he is tired.

Nursery

I finally finished Wellington's Nursery, I did it a couple months ago but now that I'm finally caught up on the blog I can post it. This is a new feeling for me to be caught up ha! I had this vision for an alphabet  and looked everywhere to find it but in the end I made it cause I never found it. It took me about a week cause I did it when Wells was about 4 weeks old. His bumper has a yellow accent on it so I did his initials with the same yellow.

We have had a mustache theme going on pretty much since we found out he was a boy!

This is his absolute favorite thing to look at. I can always get a smile out of him even if he is sad. He still remembers..

Mastered

The week of January 20-27 Wellington has mastered sitting up on his own. He is such a stud and loves his life now that he can sit and really see everything that is going on. I put a hat on his head after he took a bath and when i took it off i found STRAIGHT hair.. We haven't ever seen this. It made me laugh all day.

We went to Mel's house for lunch and Wellington loves playing with his cousins. 

Oh The Life

Wells is a dream! I get giddy just thinking about how much I love him. Lately he has been such a little ham bone, he crosses his legs all the time and it kills us. He does it in the bath and it makes us laugh. Sometimes when we get him up from his naps his legs are crossed too. I hope it continues!

No Thanks

Ya, I didn't sign up for this when I wanted to be a MOM. 

On Monday January 14th, 2013 Wellington got very relaxed in the tub and then I saw his face start to go red and that was it. I pulled him out so fast and finished his bath in the sink. After sending this picture to Jamey, my Mom, and my sisters and discussing it with all of them I finally cleaned it up by pouring bleach down my drain.. Gross..

Baby Einstein

The other Saturday we took it pretty easy and just chilled at home. We turned on Baby Einstein for Wells and it had been a while.. He was GLUED! He honestly couldn't look away.

We tucked him in on our chair and he just stared. Cute boy!

Helmet??

We saw a specialist about Wellington's head and he told us to absolutely not put him in a helmet.. But, I had to know his measurements with the helmet guy so I went over to get his head scanned and they weren't great, but I think we are going to stick the the specialists opinion. Decisions are tough when it's for your child.

Food Fest

Wednesday January 2nd, 2013 we finally gave in to feed Wellington some actual food. He had gotten shots that day so he wasn't feeling that great. Poor little man. We started him out on some Oatmeal.. and he LOVED it. Licked it up so fast, Jamey held him and I fed him.

BUMMIE!! He has no bum, it might look big in this picture but it is sooo not. Still, I'm obsessed!

A few days later we fed him some sweet potatoes he loved them also.

Goodbye 2012 Hello 2013

2012 was a WONDERFUL year. 

Highlights:

We said goodbye to SLCC and hello to the U of U

We went to Mexico together and a lot of other awesome trips

We celebrated 2 years being married

We had Wellington James Airhart 

(That was really the highlight this year, he has changed us and our identity. We love him so much!)

Jamey got put into the bishopric- Crazy!

I'm a stay at home Mom which I have always dreamed of.

He loves is Daddy and is always trying to be like him..

Morning snuggles are so amazing. 

Date night to Market Street was so fun with my family.

We are excited to start 2013

Goals:

Jamey finish his undergrad in Business at the U

Figure out where our life takes us!

We had fun ringing in the New Year here at home. I made a great dinner, we put Wellington to bed and then we made some resolutions. We watched 'I am Legend' and went to bed around 11:30. We actually stayed up later than we ever have on New Years Eve while being married. (We usually go to bed at our usual time. 9:30-10)

6 MONTHS

Saturday December 29th, 2012 Wellington turned 6 months old. A half a year has already come and gone with this little man. I can't even believe how fast it went. We are smitten and feel so blessed Heavenly Father gave him to us. He is so much fun right now.

Almost sitting up

Found his toes and LOVES to suck on them
