My Boys=GREEN

Friday February 24th
The last really big house project that has been on my list [there are still lots of little ones] is painting my boys room! It's a light blue that is not my favorite so I began the paint project... seriously picking out a color can be such a NIGHTMARE! I thought I wanted navy forever but then I got really bored with that idea, don't get me wrong navy is gorgeous in every room I have seen it, I just wanted something different and I feel like my boys speak more green to me than navy. So I decided to go with an olive green. It's my favorite...

I put a few swatches on the wall and wasn't obsessed with any of them.. Jamey came in the room and said, "why did you smear poop on the wall.."
SO GLAD he was so honest, the next day I went to the paint store and started fresh, I wanted something youthful and playful!
Swatches!!!
Then I started to toil with navy but when I went to the paint store to get a sample of both the workers there both loved my green and I just went for it!
Balsam
Our whole house is pretty much white so it was exhilarating to go so bold!

I did the green on one wall and Jamey stepped in to help me do the other walls white.

After Pictures:
It's fun and we love the change!

February Randoms

Shopping with these 3 turkey's is always exciting, I'm constantly trying to keep them entertained!
I planted a Lemon Tree and I'm so giddy about it. It's a pretty big baby though, we have to bring it inside if it's below 40 degrees, there have been many nights that I have had to get Jamey out of bed after just crawling in and make him go bring it in! HA, hopefully it will all be worth it!
We got a new piano even though it's very old [1928]
Jamey has decided to start taking piano lessons, he has wanted to learn forever and this is his year!

Wellington wrote the whole alphabet out with some sidewalk chalk going from left to right.

Saturday February 25th Jamey finally let his wish come true.. he bought a TRUCK!!
Texas Edition- Seriously only in Texas!

That night we went to the temple with some of our favorites- The Eldredge's

Bike rides have been our favorite lately!

Playing Tourists In Our Own City

Friday February 17th
We woke up and Jamey turned to me and said, "Lets go for a hike!" I was so ecstatic I jumped out of bed grabbed the kids and their coats and we all jumped in the car with granola bars for breakfast. The thing we miss 2nd most about being out of Utah are the mountains and the gorgeous hiking. I get depressed I can't go get lost in the beautiful mountains, Jamey found this little area just 20 minutes north of us called Knobs Hill so we went and did some "hiking." The boys were in complete HEAVEN!
What I thought was just a fun morning turned into an all day family day.. I love spontaneous adventures!

For dinner we grabbed a pizza and went to do MORE HIKING! We went to Lake Worth and ate then hiked down to the water. The weather was so beautiful and the sunset was out of a book!

I caught him mid-apple bite, but dang I have one foxy HUBBY!

 Saturday February 18th
We started off the morning right with a High class, I subbed a class at Keller Pointe and it was one of the most fun classes I have ever taught! The energy was on point, glad Jamey got to be there!

We ditched nap time which is so not us at all and headed into Dallas to Klyde Warren Park, it was so dreamy! It's a huge park right in the middle of the city, we ate lunch and played!

That night Jamey and I went out for our Valentine's Dinner into Fort Worth. We decided we live in a pretty awesome place to be in the middle of two big cities! We had a total blast this weekend exploring our town!
