Cheers to THIRTY YEARS

DECEMBER 16th 2017
We drove to Utah for our Christmas break on Friday December 15th.. 18 1/2 hours in the car, straight. When we got to my parents house we crashed hard. Saturday morning we woke up to Jamey's actual 30th BIRTHDAY!! We had yummy pancakes and had a great day celebrating this wonderful man.
Scarlett and baby Jesus.. she plays the the role of Mary very seriously.

A light snow fall was just what we ordered.. MAGICAL!
Jamey headed off with his Dad and brothers to shoot some guns...
Perfect for me to set up his big SURPRISE PARTY at his parents church that I was throwing for him that night.
With the help of Becky, Margaret, and Jessica, THANK YOU!

That night we went and dropped the kiddos off at Greg and Becks to go on a hot "Date Night"
I made us run an errand close by and while we were out, Jamey got a call from his Dad asking if we were close enough to swing back around and help him with something at the church. [His Dad is the Bishop right now in his ward]
So, Jamey asked me if we could swing back around and I said of course. We went into the dark church and Greg pulled us down the hall to move a filing cabinet. We walked into the gym and... SURPRISE..
A little anti-climatic than what I pictured in my mind, but it was still great! So fun to have so many friends and family gathered together!
Before we got there..

Here comes the BIRTHDAY BOY!

That face though... HA HA HA!!
The vision for these sticks were for the kids to play with, glad they grabbed them right away!

Pizza, Salad, IBC Root Beer, and Chocolate Cake!

Most of the crew

Spike Ball of course, Jamey's favorite game!

30 Candles.. He is the most handsome 30 year old I have ever seen!!

Oh Peachy..
Daddy ALWAYS to the rescue. She is so obsessed with him!

Such a fun night!!!

Jamey's 30 FAVORITE

Friday December 8th
We headed out on a HOT DATE NIGHT to celebrate this man turning THIRTY!!! Ahhh, I really can't believe it, thirty has truly never looked so good!! Look at this sexy man, yummy! I was so excited to go into Dallas to a restaurant we haven't tried and spend the night celebrating this handsome man!
-The Woolworth-
Right in the heart of Dallas, I picked it for many reasons but mostly the old library/sitting room. I wanted a romantic restaurant that we could stay a while at and not be rushed out as fast as possible.
I had a big night in store...
I wrapped up Jamey's 30 favorite things in life for his birthday presents, some were little and inside jokes and others were bigger. I was so excited for him to open them!

 Dinner was so DELICIOUS!
In our house his name is HUNKY, describes him perfectly!

This was the little library that we sat in after we ate dinner, Jamey finished opening his presents and we just relaxed and talked.

This is some famous eye in Dallas and our restaurant was right next to it.
On our way home we got a little crazy and decided to stop at SIX FLAGS, us and Jamey's parents are gifting Six Flags to our family for Christmas. So, we ran through the park to find the biggest roller coaster to give ourselves the biggest scare. The Titan did the trick, we felt like we were teenagers running through the park and had the biggest adrenalin rush ever! Perfect ending to such a wonderful night out celebrating Jamey.
 Most of his favorites..
Saturday December 9th
After Wellington's flag football game we fed our kids lunch and dropped them all off at a friends house and headed out for the day... back to SIX FLAGS!

We stayed all afternoon and had such a wonderful time. Our favorite part were these fire pits all over  that you could sit by and warm up. You could also make a S'more if you wanted to. We had a BLAST all day, we highly believe that nothing is better for a marriage than DATES and some alone time. Nothing connects us more!
