Rodeo Time

Saturday July 5th the WHOLE SLATER family went to the Oakley Rodeo, minus a few kids. We went to Red Rock (except for my brothers) up in Kimball Junction before and it was yummy. I don't have any pictures of July 4th because I had a 24 hour stomach flu and it was a miserable day. Glad to be feeling lots better. Melanie and her family and Kate.

The Start of July

July is going to be an awesome month, we have been looking forward to it for a long time now. We have a big family trip to Canada and my sister Marianne is coming to town for the whole month. Let the party begin.

I love when Wells snuggles with me and lays on me. He is such a sweetheart.

We went and did a late night Wal-Mart trip to get stuff for Canada. These two were trying to find some good potpourri for our RV trip coming up. They were on this aisle for 20 minutes sniffing every kind. Let's get honest, nothing is going to make an RV smell better.

I let Wellington walk for a bit and of course he tripped and fell right into the swamp. He was covered in nasty mud.

These three little angels all two months apart. Drew, Lennon, and Lauren. Drew was the last born but for sure has the biggest head!

Choo Choo I'm TWO!

Sunday June 29th Wellington turned TWO!! AHHH, so insane that Jamey and I have been parents for 2 years now. He is so busy and always wants to laugh. He also has such a tender heart and needs love from us all the time. He knows when I'm upset and he snuggles me. He loves reading the scriptures and will remind US to pray. I really love him so much, even those tantrums that have come into full swing.

He eats like a grown man.. he sometimes actually eats more than Jamey at meals. I really haven't come across anything he doesn't love. I'm talking onions, olives, spicy food, garlic you name it! He has a serious appetite. He just recently (two months ago) went down to one nap a day. He sleeps around 12-13 hours a night. Wells seriously gets giddy when he gets into his bed he LOVES his sleep. He talks a little, it for sure has been slow moving for him, but just with turning two he has started to put some words together and it's so exciting.
