February Randoms 2016

One of my darling regular babysitters made me this cute print. Isn't she amazing at watercolor? I can't wait to get it framed!

This poor boy and his accidents. We were at Melanie's house for 5 minutes and he comes running up her stairs crying, he fell off her swing straight onto the back of his head on the concrete floor. [Her basement isn't finished yet] The goose egg was just massive. Poor boy! Later that night when I was putting him down for bed he said, "I want to pray to Heavenly Father that he can heal my head" Gosh I love him!

Why does this little girl make me so darn happy! She is learning how to clap right now and pretty much only does it when my Mom asks her. 

 -FIVE YEARS LATER-

It really has been 5 years since I have been snowboarding, with pregnant and nursing it just hasn't left me much time for anything else. Jamey and I got away yesterday afternoon for a few hours to get back on the mountain. It was seriously SO MUCH FUN! We have been going all our lives together and we honestly had a ball. Such a blue bird day, the weather was beyond perfect. 

 Not going to lie I was a bit terrified since it's been so long. Jamey just kept telling me it's like riding a bike. Luckily it was!

Lover's Day Weekend 2016

Friday February 12th 

This Valentine's weekend was really one for the books.  We had such fun date nights planned! We started on Friday night going out to dinner with Jordan and Mandy to a fun restaurant in Kimball Junction called Billy Blanco's. It was super yummy and the company was amazing. [as always] It was also heavenly to breathe in some fresh air. The inversion this year is going to kill me off!

Saturday we had a great family day running errands and doing the normal things we do on Saturday.

Saturday night we had dinner at home then we went to a concert at Kingsbury Hall to see Gentri. They were so good! We got invited from the Bowen family. It was a ball!

Sunday morning February 14th- My four little Valentine's

We had a great day at church and the best naps to follow lunch. We had dinner that night at my parents house. This peach is so deliciously big. I could eat her!

Gosh I love my husband and kids so dang much. This family of mine makes me the happiest I have ever been! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Scarlett 8 Months

Saturday February 13th Scarlett turned 8 months old. 

I really can't believe my eyes! It has gone by so fast. She is such a little dream boat and we are ALL obsessed with her. The boys play with her so well and are always making sure she has toys, and food, and a pillow behind her [if she is on the floor, just in case she falls over] She is so smiley and giggles all the time. If her Dad is home her eyes are always on him! Big smiley heart eyes!! She just learned how to clap and gets so excited about it! She can also say Da Da and jabbers all day She eats just like her brothers which is very hearty! She is rollie and so delicious! We seriously LOVE you Scarlett, thanks for coming to our family! 

 Don't know what's going on with her little chin rash. It just appeared and will not go away.

Monday February 1st

Well here we are starting February, It's the LONGEST month of the year for me.  I'm really trying to gear up for it especially with how cold it has been. Surprisingly the first week was awesome. Just stayed home with my kids and ate them up. I feel like this week they have never played so well together. It was amazing to watch and I am so grateful for them. It's also a combo of everyone feeling better too.. 

I found Scarlett's first tooth today! Her bottom left one. Who knows when she got that? It probably came in when she was super sick so I didn't even think to see if she was teething.

 My boys have been having such a good time together, there imaginations have been coming out and I love to witness it! They are always calling for one another if they go down to the play room to play!

Tuesday February 2nd, Drew went poop on the potty for the 1st time! Yahoo, we have been asking him for some time now and he finally did it. He was so proud of himself. The best was how encouraging Wellington was.  

February 3rd Andrew went poops again on the potty, then a little later he went peeps! We were again so dang proud of him! Not sure if I'm ready to gear up for potty training but maybe! 

 The Indo board has been our nightly attraction lately.
