Vintage

This last Sunday I wore my Grandma Smith's old dress. She is my Mom's Mum and she passed away 3 days before i turned 16. I miss her, she was a wonderful, amazing woman. It was so fun to wear her vintage dress all day. It's such a dainty dress with pearl buttons. My Grandma was pretty tall so I had to wear my tallest shoes in respect.

Ghost Town GIG

Thursday April 18th Jamey and the rest of his band played at his brothers Elementary School that he teaches at. They had a huge fundraiser night and it was such a blast to go and hang out. The band did awesome and the crowd LOVED THEM!

I'm just a bit obsessed with my husband...

He learned bye bye these last couple weeks and it's adorable, now he is doing it pretty much every time we leave a room. Only his right hand though.

Front Room Project

January hit and it was cold, depressing, and dark.. I really didn't think I was going to make it through this winter. We have lived in our apartment for almost 3 years now and I needed some serious change. That was going to be a bit of a problem cause we are on a very tight budget. So, I was going to sell some things and and my goal was to MAKE money while updating my room. Luckily I succeeded!

With all the things I sold I made $249.00. The money I put out for new things was $161.50, that includes some supplies like spray paint for frames and random things. I updated my room while making  $87.50.

Homemade Baby Food

Monday April 15th I decided to make some homemade baby food. I have been saying that I want to since I started to feed Wellington at 6 months, just never got around to it. I finally found an awesome website from pinterest (of course) and decided to go to town. It took me about two hours and made 24 meals. I would say it was a total success. Since I'm home at night all alone this might become a new hobby for me. I really enjoyed it!

Motherhood

Yesterday I went and got my teeth cleaned at the old office I worked at for 3 years in Park City prior to having a baby and becoming a Mother. It was great to see some old friends but WOW, I left feeling so grateful I don't have to work anymore. I guess I always wanted to be a Mom (after having the greatest example and Mother ever) So working for me was always temporary, I haven't looked back once since I left. I feel so honored and blessed to be a Mom and I am so grateful for a husband who makes it his top priority to make sure I can stay home with Wellington. I'm not saying this to brag or be annoying at all, I just feel so happy to be a Mom! I love my family.

Conference Weekend

We had a wonderful conference weekend. It was so nice to stay home, relax, let Wells take his naps, and eat delicious food. I did start my Saturday morning running to a couple garage sales.. Let me just say I'm SOOOO HAPPY it's garage sale season again. I honestly get so giddy knowing that I'm going to find something that I didn't even know I needed. I really love them so much! This house that had a sale was so amazing, it is for sale and I was dying over it. "I'll take that picture for a dollar if you throw in the house too." (I low ball people)

For priesthood session we went up to Park City to the outlets and TJ. (It's our favorite store) It was so fun to go do a little shopping and hang out with good company. We missed you Marianne.

If any of you missed the talk by L. Whitney Clayton titled, Marriage- Watch and Learn I encourage you to listen or read it. It honestly had such amazing points in it for a successful Marriage. I'm so grateful we have a living prophet on our earth today and wonderful leaders of our church who are inspired to tell us certain things to only better our lives. What a great conference!

High Chair

Monday April 1st we FINALLY got our own High Chair. Bless the day. We got it off KSL used and it is honestly in mint condition. It's small with a nice big tray, exactly what I wanted. We are thrilled. and so far its been so great to put Wells in there and cook dinner with out him getting sad. (Don't mind my hideous kitchen, it's a rental)

EASTER SUNDAY 2013

Sunday March 31st, 2013 was Easter Sunday. It was such a fabulous day, the weather was honestly BEAUTIFUL!  We took this pic right after church with my phone, intended just for Instagram, but it turned out to be the best picture of the day, and our favorite family pic as of yet.

Dying EGGS
