Christmas Festivities

Sunday December 18th was a cozy cozy day! After church we snuggled by the fire place and played. This fire has really been a dream these last few weeks!

That night as the last Birthday celebration I made Jamey some cinnamon rolls. The boys were really great at tasting the frosting out for me.

Monday December 19th we kicked off the week before Christmas with a fun FHE: Gingerbread Houses. The kids were in heaven!

Wednesday December 21st we went to the Fort Worth Zoo with some friends.

Thursday December 22nd we headed to Dallas to see "The Temple Lights." Jokes on us.. I was certain that they would have lights but no, I guess that is mostly a UTAH thing. We still ate at our favorite Taco joint and had fun walking around the Temple. The kids didn't know any difference, they loved the "lights"

Friday December 23rd, I really dropped the ball this year with neighbor gifts. So I decided last minute to make some sugar cookies and take them around. They turned out great though, my boys loved helping me.

It's Not About the Presents but HIS PRESENCE

Saturday December 17th

Jamey and I got put in charge of our Ward Christmas Party this year. Oh boy, I almost lost it when they called us to this. I have been in the ward for about 3 months, don't know many people, and am supposed to put on a party for 200 members! AHHH! I doubted so hard until I met with my committee, holy cow I was humbled, they really were so AMAZING! We came together with our ideas and pulled off a successful party!

I left in the morning to help set everything up, this is peach watching me drive away. It really didn't help that Scarlett and Andrew got hand, foot, and mouth the week of the party. Always eventful with these loves.

 Our theme was "It's not about the presents but HIS presence." Jamey and I were in charge of the food and it went really well. It was a great night!

 We took just Wellington to the party with us since our other kids were sick. It was fun to have him there. He felt so special that he was the only one that got to go to a party!

Jamey Turns 29

Friday December 16th Jamey turned 29! LOOK AT HIM!! Seriously, I pinch myself that he is mine. I'm so obsessed! He is so amazing and we have had such a great week celebrating him! He started the day off with a run and home to yummy whole wheat pancakes.

We went to Sam's Club and ate lunch during the day because we had to pick stuff up for our Ward Christmas Party. After Jamey and Wells headed over to pick up his Birthday present...

We ended our night with dinner at Benihana's, just the two of us and it was a wonderful evening! I love you Jamey and I am so happy you were born and that we found each other. You are hilarious, witty, tender, handsome as hell, the best father, and just an all over DREAM BOAT!
