We got right to work with putting our house away and cleaning like CRAZY! Going out to the grocery store was super easy there are so many SO CLOSE to us. This is Wellington's cute preschool that he will go to in a few weeks.
The bomb.. Sometimes it was hard to know where to begin. My mom helped me tons especially in the kitchen, knowing where to put things and what makes the most sense.
At nights we were so tired the first week but knowing how much we still needed to do made us keep going [I'm speaking for myself, Jamey and my mom tapped right out]
Jamey's desk and office set up in the guest room. This was Jamey every single night... no shirt. It really is so BLOODY hot here!
Finally, the kitchen all put away!! So much cabinet space some are still empty.
Don't mind the hole, we will get to that later and also all the trim work needs to be white- the project list goes on and on!
My morning run past Wellington's preschool.
Our swing set in the back yard, I knew that this was supposed to be our house especially when I saw that they had 2 big swings and a baby swing. It was meant for our family!
Closet finally put away!
Out to buy a lawn mower.. there is a first for everything with this new house of ours.
We finally ventured out of the house to Northpark Mall in downtown Dallas. We all needed to get some energy out. We stopped for 1 second to get this picture, it was 110 degrees out with some serious humidity!
The only time we can swing is in the early morning.
Friday August 12th Scarlett took her first steps, of course to my mom. She LOVES her!

New front porch rug
Friday August 13th we took my mom to the airport and bawled the whole way home. What am I even going to do without her? We have lived 3 streets from her for the past 2 and 1/2 years and have seen her every day. It's going to be a serious adjustment.
We mowed our lawn for the first time
Removing the ivy as fast as it is growing, I wish we could keep it but Jamey says it's a total nightmare.
Some pictures of the progression
Nothing on the walls but looking more like home.
Our loft upstairs and the last of the boxes.
Thank you Jake and Melissa for helping us get rid of our nasty chandelier.

Our first date night in Colleyville- We tried out Luna Grill and then went furniture shopping for our empty house.
The projects were just piling up and getting out of hand. So we decided to make a list and prioritize them. Lets get started so I can get to the painting projects.
