Christmas Week 2015

Sunday December 20th
LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!
Christmas Sunday pictures didn't go quite as planned but that's OK, it's just life with kids right? We had such a great day at church and then came home and drove straight up the canyon to stay in a cabin for a few days with all the Slater's.
It was mostly Drew that was having a rough go..

Monday morning the 21st was the first day at the cabin. It was so gorgeous and seriously snowed THE WHOLE TIME. It was so magical to be up in the mountains with nothing to do but sit and enjoy the company.
We started our morning out ice skating. Wells loved it!

Poor goosey

All of us in our Christmas Plaids

For a GOOD portion on the day the men, Sara, and kids were outside building this huge giant IGLOO. It was really intense. The grown men could fully stand up inside. They didn't even come in for hot dinner. Well Greg decided he was done at that time. Ha ha! But everyone stayed out until the bitter end and finished it.
Jamey and Wellington inside.
Wellington loved his life playing in the snow. It literally snowed the entire time we were there.
Mel gave out some cute Santa hats to the kids and this one for Scarlett.

Mom and Drew- we stayed home in the morning so that all the babies could nap while everyone went swimming. It was a very relaxing morning.

My cute dad out playing with all the kids.

Jamey, Steve, and all the Slater boys went snowboarding the second day we were there.

Wednesday December 22nd we went home form the cabin. [Very Sad] That night we went to Cafe Rio then to see the lights at Temple Square.. It was so freezing outside.. we did a really fast hot lap around and got right back into our warm cars that my cute parents were driving around so we didn't have to deal with parking!

Thursday December 24th
Christmas EVE
We headed to Beck and Greg's house for a Christmas Eve brunch. Drew doesn't look amused.

After all the yummy food we did the Nativity. Being a Shepard is the highlight of the year for Wellington. He remembered it all year long. He takes it very seriously.

Jamey and I played Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus [Scarlett]
Here is the crew
We had Jordan and Margs for Christmas this year.
We went to the new Star Wars that afternoon while all the kids napped at my parents house. Thanks Mom! That night we went to Mel and Nick's for dinner. We have a tradition to eat shrimp, pizza, and root beer, it was delicious as ever. After we had dinner all the grand kids got to open new jammies! These boys are so darling!

Friday December 25th
CHRISTMAS
Christmas morning is always so exciting! Especially when it's also Andrew's birthday!
 Jamey trying to stall Wells.

 Santa pulling through
Happy Birthday #2 to Andrew!!! Oh how we love you goosey.
Bless my heart and the shadows in some of these pictures.
Santa put new batteries in our turtle for Scarlett. She was in heaven!

 My boys!

Wellington got a Thomas The Train from Santa.

Around 8:30 am we went to my parents house to open presents and hang out for the rest of the day. Look at this dinner menu.. I know we showed up at the right place.

Wellington got a doll for Christmas from my parents. He was so jazzed, look at that face that he couldn't stop making! His other boy cousins were so confused why he wanted a doll. I had to explain to them that all we do is take care of Scarlett and he wants a baby to take care of as well.

My cute Mom's birthday as well!
