Pagosa Springs Colorado

Wednesday July 26th, 2017
We left BeaUTAHful and headed east to Pagosa Springs for an Airhart family reunion! The drive in the morning was so dreamy, all the misty clouds over the mountains...
I wouldn't know because I was passed out cold but Jamey said it was amazing. Shout out to Jamey for always taking the morning driving shift so I can sleep. He really is the best to road trip with.
We stopped in Moab for breakfast then decided to hike Wilson Arch, it was so incredible!

Feeling on top of the world with this family of mine

We got to our cabin and had dinner. After dinner we watched these dark clouds roll in and out and then we were left with a clear starry night. We sat out on the back porch chatting and watching shooting stars all night. It was fabulous!
Thursday July 27th
We started our morning off with a hike to Treasure Falls. The drive there was gorgeous with the sun coming up and the farm land at the bottom of giant mountains. Goodness the places people get to live.

Jakes sweet moves!
After we hiked and played around we drove up to an outlook point and it was unreal!

We floated the river that afternoon and despite the nasty chocolate milk water that happened literally an hour before we got in [flash flood] it was so much fun! Goose didn't love it but everyone else did!

Andrew really was just cold so he was beside himself when we arrived at the hot springs!

Friday July 28th
Who's who?
We drove up to hike Piedra Falls, it was an hour away but worth the beautiful drive.

She is a serious heavy wait.. I barley made it up!

We got back to our car just in time for it to start raining, at that point Jamey realized that he locked our keys in the car. We spent the next hour and a half trying to rig it to open it. No such luck, but it was a really neat experience.. so calm and peaceful up there, the kids all were so patient and pleasant to be with. The best part was the brotherly bonding. Really great afternoon.

Saturday July 29th
We started out the morning with an epic HIGH Class. These Airhart's KILLED it!

We went into town to play at the park.

After we had lunch, Becky offered to watch our kids so we could go and float the river with the Rappleye's [kidless] BEST. DECISION. EVER. We had so much fun we did it twice!

After dinner we went on a little walk to take in the beautiful mountains for the last time. I miss them so much in Texas!

Sunday July 30th
We drove home, 12 hours to the exact minute and our best car trip ever!
Such a fun trip, thank you Greg and Becky. We loved every minute, thanks for always bringing our family together!
