Monday December 26th we loaded in the car very early for a 15 hour drive across west Texas to Phoenix. This is the sunrise and WEST TEXAS... So ugly and flat.
This is what an oil rig looks like and they are ALL OVER west Texas.
As we were approaching El Paso there was a big black smoke cloud above it and I honestly can say that it is for sure the arm pit of the USA! It's AWFUL!!!! If you can avoid it at all, DO! You can see the USA and Mexico fence that run right along the city.

Here is the sunset, it's weird to drive ALL day, seeing the sunrise and sunset and then still be driving..
TUESDAY
Started off with some good ol Karaoke! Jamey was killing it!

WEDNESDAY
Everyone was sick. I luckily didn't get sick so I could take care of everyone. Poor Andrew was puking all morning.
THURSDAY
Everyone was feeling lots better, we got a babysitter and headed off to last chance! This place is serious business! It was Jamey's first time and he was overwhelmed but did a great job getting our kids clothes!
Mar popped a squat while we went through all our junk.
After shopping we went to True Food and it's so delicious! On our way home we went to the airport to go pick up our parents to join the party!

That night we had a joint Birthday party for my Mom and Andrew who share the same Birthday, Christmas day!
FRIDAY
We got another babysitter and headed out to do some more shopping that morning.. We started at Bosa Donuts for our first time and they were so tasty, it was hard to pick just one!
This was Jamey's choice
When we headed back all the kids were at the park having a BLAST!
Scarlett loved getting rides from Crew, she has the need for speed already!
SATURDAY December 31st
New Years Eve
Jamey and my Dad took all the kids to a Rec center to play. They had a blast climbing this rock wall and doing lots of other things!

That night we went up to Aaron's house, ate dinner and hung out with great family friends. This is the only picture we took the whole night!
SUNDAY
Andrew and Lennon's first time as sunbeams.. They were so darling!
MONDAY
We started the morning off right with a great hike up to the wind caves. It was the perfect weather and gorgeous out. We miss hiking SOOOO MUCH!
Wellington kept up with Crew the entire time, they were so far ahead of everyone.

Andrew hiked the whole way up by himself, he kept up and did awesome! I was so proud of him. He rode down on Jamey's back so he wouldn't fall.

That night we had a Birthday party for Kate at the park. It's always a total blast staying at the LeSueur's, thanks for hosting all of us!
