White Rock Lake

Saturday October 7th

Saturday's=Adventure Day!!

Bikes loaded up in the back ready for a ride around White Rock Lake in Dallas. 9 Mile loop, we packed our lunch and left right after breakfast!

 Overcast, 80 degree weather- such a perfect day for a good bike ride.

We kinda felt like we were somewhere else, lots of docks and boats and bridges. So beautiful!!

 We stopped under this tree for a while to throw rocks in.

  The whole ride was perfect, we had the lake on one side and GORGEOUS homes on the other side. I mean total mansions on amazing Texas land! I was drooling the whole time, this one had my name on it, French Modern.

That night Jamey and I headed out for date night to Fort Worth for a celebratory work dinner. It was such a lovely evening with just the two of us.

We ate here, it was beyond DIVINE, we took full advantage of not having kids and really enjoyed dining for two full hours.

My mind was blown with this toad in the hole! An egg in the middle of of buttery bread. OH MY GOODNESS!
