Friday September 29th
Wellington concluded his first 6 weeks of Kindergarten! He came home with this new Cheetah Tail [Park Glen Cheetah's]
He told me he got it today at the "Reach Rally" I thought, that's really fun so I dug in a little more..
asking him lots of questions.. "Were you the only one to get one of those? Did all your classmates get this certificate?"
He kept saying "No Mom, it was just me"
That's when I emailed his teacher to get all the details and right away she called me telling me that this is a HUGE deal..
All the Kindergarten teachers got together and each submitted a name of a student that has gone above and beyond these first six weeks, Wellington is who they picked, out of 105 Kindergartners!
Our hearts could burst we are so proud of him! His sweet teacher went on and on for 20 minutes telling me how "exceptional" our son is. He is her right hand boy at school and he is always so concerned for everyone's feeling. She told me he has a heart of GOLD! We couldn't agree more.
He is thoughtful and tender and one amazing boy!
The following Wednesday we went to his favorite restaurant with our family to celebrate him
