Friday May 20th Jamey went in for surgery. He tore his meniscus in his left knee and went in to get it repaired. But he sure was chipper...

They came in to shave his knee and it looked so bare and skinny
This cap is AMAZING.
So, the Dr. prepared us for the worst, he said that from looking at the MRI it was torn all the way through and when he got in there it wasn't as bad. It had actually started to repair itself which is rare and so he just had to cut off some flaps that were jagged from the tear and then stitch the rest up. Thank you we will take that in a heart beat. He originally told us that he would be on crutches for 6 weeks, now it's only 2!! Great news. We are now starting on the second week and he is able to walk on it a little, so we are making progress.
We borrowed this wheel chair and it was great to get out of the house a bit and take Jame on some walks. Ha good times. Thanks everyone who visited and provided food and entertainment. We love you all!

Of course he took his purple socks home to wear later. So cute! I'm glad he's getting around better-we need to reschedule our outing!
Haha. cute Jamey. You're a good wife to him to take care of the little guy. I'm glad that he's almost done with crutches. those are the worst.
