October Randoms

October 2017
What a fabulous month October has been. It was very busy, but wonderful.
My darling friend from Fired Up Fitness, Sidonie, got High Fitness certified and I was able to attend her first class. She KILLED it! So fun to share such a passion together.
One night while I was making dinner Wellington came over to me with such a happy smile saying, "Look Mom, I wrote your initials for you."
Great, he is already forging my initials...

Beautiful October sky!
Wellington's homework
His drawings could be a little questionable..
It's a nail
Jamey took Wells on a date to Cabela's and he was in heaven.

I really love Wellington's drawings. He is obsessed with art... always at our kitchen table coloring something fabulous.

Devivo Bros
So many delicious desserts, the food is amazing as well!
Only in Texas
For Emily's birthday I took a cake over on a Saturday night and we played this amazing game with no children! Seriously laughed our heads off. Especially when Stephanie went, her Korean accent came out so strong.

Jamey is good at taking naps!

Sunday October 15th
The Primary Program
It was so great, the boys did so well, we all loved every minute of it, and we felt the spirit. This years theme was choosing the right.

After church we went looking for some fall leaves.. it's a little bit depressing that it's October and the leaves are still green.
But we were successful and found some fall leaves in Arcadia Park, right by our house.

RED!

Then the kids got sick for almost a week...poor babies!

Our new Sunday night tradition includes a fire, treats, and neighbors and we couldn't be more excited. I missed fires all summer long, here in Texas it's not the season. But come October, the time is right.

Tuesday October 24th
My last day teaching at Fired Up Fitness
Fired Up was the most amazing community to be apart of. These women and lots more who aren't pictured showed up each week and gave it their all. They are always kind and cheering each other on. We need more of that and less comparing ourselves to each other!

This cute boy!!
Patiently waiting for cookies to come out..

One night we rode our bikes to a nearby park. It takes us about 10 minutes to get there.. Scarlett was pretty persistent on riding her own bike, so we let her. She NAILED it! She rode the whole way there and back with a big smile on her face and never complained once. It was adorable, you could tell she felt so big!

Thursday October 26th
Apex Fun Run
Wellington took this as seriously as ever. He ran all 36 laps and I'm pretty sure he was the first Kindergartner to finish. He was HAULING! We cheered him on like never before! With each lap he would yell the number to me with a giant smile on his face. "THIRTEEN"

All Done

That same day Jamey went to Minnesota for a work conference. He got to go to the Mall of America!

Sunday Best
