Wednesday November 26th- Sunday November 30th The Slater family went up to Deer Valley and rented a cabin for Thanksgiving! It was such a blast!! We had such a great time playing in the snow and hanging out all day together. Cousin time is the best for these cute kids! Wells was so excited to go play in the snow in his new snow clothes! We suited him up after about 45 minutes of being there and Jamey went out with him to go sledding.

10 minutes of sledding landed us in the ER as fast as we could get down those winding roads.. Poor Wells hit a wooden beam right on the corner of it. It was SPURTING blood and so deep.. I felt so sick just looking at it. Jamey called for me and I was in the basement of the cabin so I ran up as fast as possible and found them with Jamey's shirt wrapped around his head and Wells screaming. Interesting enough/ thank the heavens the lord is always looking out for us, my keys, his binky, and my purse were all sitting together in plain sight in our room. I grabbed all three and we ran to our car.
The Dr. said one more layer down and we would be staring at his skull.
He had to get it wrapped up to start the numbing.. he also got a little moose that had the same head wrap.
After they got it all numb he laid so still while they put the stitches in. Silent with his eyes closed. That little tear kills me. He had to get 5 underneath that take 8 months to dissolve then 8 on top that we had to get out a week later. 13 STITCHES! He really was so brave and good! After he was telling the Dr. Thank you and she was appalled.
Thanksgiving Day.. Jamey made sure he got back on the horse. First thing, out sledding!

We announced to my family that we are having our 3rd baby in June!! Yahoo, we couldn't be happier. Being parents is our greatest joy! I'm 12 and a half weeks pregnant

The day after Thanksgiving we all went out sledding and it was a ball!
Wellington slept in a big boy bed for the first time ever and did so good. He has been crawling out of his crib for months so we might consider getting him one.
We took a sleigh ride in Midway one afternoon, it was really fun!

At the end we got to see Santa. Both my boys loved him, Wellington is asking for cookies this year for Christmas. Sounds great to me and Santa!
My mom brought up lots of head lights and all the kids loved playing hide and seek at night with them.

All us girls went shopping on Saturday to TJ and the outlets. It was heaven to go Christmas shopping without kids. I love all of these ladies so much I look up to them in so many ways.
Monday night we went to City Creek and Temple Square for FHE.
