The MISSION!

Day 1: On Friday, August 6th Jamey and I left Salt Lake City at 3:00 AM and drove half way across the country to Nauvoo, Illinois. It took us 17 hours and 45 minutes, we had so much fun driving. We saw a whole lot of nothing until we came across this huge windmill farm in Iowa, so amazing! Jamey served his mission in Independence, Missouri. His first area is 3 hours away from Nauvoo so we decided to start our trip there. It was so beautiful but so dang hot. The week we were there was the hottest week in like the past 2 years. HA AWESOME!!

Day 2: Jamey and I started out our morning with a healthy breakfast, then went to the BEAUTIFUL NAUVOO TEMPLE.

Day 3: Sunday we went to the Gallatin Ward and saw so many great people. The Elder Family

Day 4: We headed out and went to Adam-Ondi-Ahman

Day 5: Liberty Jail

We went into Kansas City and ate lunch at Cheesecake Factory and did some shopping.

Day 6: We went to the Independence Visitors Center and had to jet over to see the re-organized church. Their temple is open to the public.

Day 7: We did lots of Visiting and we went to lunch with Valerie Cates

Jamey and I went to our first MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL game. The Kansas City Royals took on the Yankees! It was so much fun but we have never sweat so much in our lives.

Day 8: We went back into the city for our last day but first we went and saw the construction site for the Kansas City Temple. It should be completed in 2012.

We were in this museum for 3 hours. It was so awesome, so much stuff to see.

We saw so many wonderful people and stayed with a different family every night. It was such a blast to travel and see Jamey's Mission, Im glad I married everyones favorite missionary!!! Thank you to all.
